Directions for Use
Cold night washing: following the hot alkaline morning wash, use Multi-Acid at 0.25–1.0% v/v, equivalent to 0.25–1 litre per 100 litres. Keep the acid and alkaline stages separate, with the required rinsing between treatments.
Scale removal: use 1–4% v/v, or 1–4 litres per 100 litres, at ambient temperature up to 60°C. Circulate for five to ten minutes, discharge and rinse thoroughly. Higher temperatures within this range speed up scale removal.
Two-stage dairy CIP: after the alkaline cleaning stage and rinse, use 0.2–1.0% v/v, or 0.2–1 litre per 100 litres, at ambient temperature up to 60°C. Multi-Acid is also suitable for acidified-rinse CIP systems for raw milk silos and lines.
Acid boiling water systems: the manufacturer’s schedule below specifies the amount of Multi-Acid needed per litre of stock solution for each circuit. These are stock-solution preparation rates, not doses per litre of circulating water.

Rinsing and handling: thoroughly rinse equipment with clean water after treatment and before reuse to prevent residues entering milk. The concentrate causes severe skin burns and eye damage. Avoid breathing mist and wear protective gloves, clothing and eye or face protection. Store the closed original container in a cool, ventilated place, away from alkalis and oxidisers. Never mix with chlorine-releasing bleach, as toxic gas can form.
