Evans Robo Alkali 25L Milking Equipment Cleaner
Evans Vanodine Robo Alkali is a chlorine-free alkaline circulation cleaner for robotic and conventional milking equipment. This 25-litre pack, code R102KEV, supplies a stabilised sodium hydroxide formulation for removing fats, oils and protein deposits left by milk.
The non-foaming liquid circulates through compatible dairy equipment and rinses away easily. Sequestrants and suspending agents help prevent calcium deposits forming in tanks and pipelines, while supporting cleaning in both hard and soft water areas.
Robo Alkali has specified programmes for robotic machines, conventional milking machines and bulk milk tank recirculation. Each uses a 0.5% v/v solution, but temperature and circulation requirements differ. It is also suitable for compatible milking circuits equipped with a recovery system.

Directions for Use
Prepare and rinse
Read the label, current SDS and equipment instructions. Thoroughly rinse machines, pipelines and bulk tanks with clean water before cleaning, then drain. Prepare the specified 0.5% v/v solution using suitable dosing equipment.
Robotic milking machines
Use a 0.5% v/v solution. Follow the robotic equipment manufacturer's specified wash temperature and circulation time; do not substitute the conventional machine settings below.
Conventional milking machines
Use a 0.5% v/v solution at 77–82°C. Run the solution to waste until the discharge temperature reaches at least 50°C. Circulate for up to 10 minutes, then run to waste.
Bulk milk tank recirculation
After pre-rinsing the tank and pipelines and allowing them to drain, circulate a 0.5% v/v solution at 70°C for 15–20 minutes, then run to waste.
After cleaning and separate disinfection
Always rinse all treated equipment thoroughly with clean water after cleaning. Evans recommends a 0.5% v/v Peradox rinse as a separate disinfection step after cleaning. Follow the Peradox label and equipment instructions for that stage; do not mix the products.
Handling and storage
The concentrate causes severe skin burns and eye damage. Avoid breathing mist and wear protective gloves, clothing and eye/face protection. Keep tightly closed in the original container in a cool, ventilated place, away from acids and oxidisers. Do not use on aluminium or other soft metals.
