Directions for Use
Prepare the equipment and handle safely
Read the label, safety data sheet and equipment instructions before dosing. The concentrate is corrosive: use suitable protective gloves, clothing and eye or face protection. Keep it separate from other chemicals, especially chlorine-releasing bleach. Rinse milk residues from the equipment before the acid wash.
Clean bulk milk tanks
Measure 200ml into 40 litres of hot or cold water. Pre-rinse the tank with clean cold water, then operate the automatic or hand-operated spray system according to its manufacturer's instructions. Drain afterwards and rinse thoroughly with clean cold water until acid residues have been removed.
Circulate through dairy plant
For in-place cleaning, use 40–200ml per 40 litres of hot or cold water, choosing the concentration according to water hardness and soil load. After the initial rinse, circulate the prepared solution for 10 minutes, discharge it, then rinse thoroughly with clean water and allow complete drainage.
Remove heavier scale periodically
For occasional milking-plant descaling, use 1 litre per 40 litres of hot or cold water and circulate for 10 minutes. Discharge the solution and rinse all treated equipment thoroughly with clean water before reuse. Follow the plant's specified cleaning schedule and repeat only as required.
