The Portwest PS53 Height Endurance Hard Hat is a non-vented ABS safety helmet featuring a 6-point textile suspension harness, wheel ratchet adjustment system and integrated chin strap. It is designed with a compact, peakless shell for improved upward visibility and helmet accessory compatibility.
The PS53 is manufactured from a lightweight ABS shell with a non-vented design, providing a rigid outer structure with electrical insulation performance. The peakless profile allows a clear upward field of vision.
Internally, it uses a 6-point textile suspension system that distributes load evenly across the head for a stable fit. A wheel ratchet adjustment system allows sizing between approximately 52–63 cm.
A 4-point Y-style chin strap with soft chin protector is included to help secure the helmet in position. A foam sweatband is fitted at the front of the internal harness to assist with comfort and moisture absorption.
The helmet is designed with accessory compatibility slots for clip-on ear defenders and visor systems, including compatibility with PW47 / PS47 ear defenders and PS58 visor holder systems. The shell is supplied in multiple colourways including black (BKR).
