The Portwest PS52 Full Brim Future Hard Hat is a non-vented head protection shell featuring a lightweight polypropylene (PP) construction, full brim design, 4-point suspension harness and wheel ratchet adjustment system.
The PS52 is manufactured from a lightweight PP (polypropylene) outer shell with a full brim profile that extends around the entire helmet. The design provides additional coverage compared to standard shell helmets.
Internally, the helmet uses a 4-point plastic suspension harness that sits within the shell and supports the head evenly. The harness is paired with a wheel ratchet adjustment system, allowing size adjustment between approximately 52–63 cm.
A soft foam sweatband is fitted at the front of the internal suspension to improve contact comfort and moisture absorption during wear.
The helmet is non-vented, maintaining a closed shell structure. It is built to EN 397 and ANSI/ISEA Z89.1 Type I Class E standards, with temperature resistance from -10°C to +50°C.
