The Portwest PA58 Hard Hat Winter Liner is an insulating helmet liner designed to attach inside a safety helmet using hook-and-loop straps. It provides a close-fitting thermal layer with elasticated rear construction for improved fit and movement.
The PA58 is constructed from a cotton and polyester fabric blend, forming a soft insulating liner that sits inside compatible safety helmets. The material is designed to add a thermal layer without significantly increasing bulk inside the helmet shell.
The liner attaches using four hook-and-loop straps that secure directly to the internal suspension system of the helmet. This ensures the liner remains fixed in position during wear while allowing easy removal when not required.
An elasticated rear panel helps the liner adapt to head movement, maintaining a close fit while reducing restriction. The front section is shaped to sit comfortably around the forehead and sides of the head beneath the helmet cradle.
The design is low-profile to maintain helmet fit integrity, with a focus on simple construction and consistent coverage around the head area. It is supplied in a one-size format and is available in black (BKR).
