The Portwest PS55 Endurance Hard Hat is a vented ABS safety helmet featuring a 6-point textile suspension harness, wheel ratchet adjustment system and 4-point chin strap. Designed with a lightweight shell construction, it combines ventilation, secure fit and accessory compatibility.
The PS55 is manufactured from durable ABS with a vented shell design that allows airflow through the helmet while maintaining a lightweight structure. The streamlined profile is available in multiple colour options, including black (BKR).
Internally, the helmet features a 6-point textile suspension harness that helps distribute weight evenly across the head. A wheel ratchet adjustment system allows the fit to be adjusted between approximately 52–63cm for a secure and personalised fit.
A Y-style 4-point chin strap is supplied as standard and helps keep the helmet securely positioned. The design also incorporates a sweatband and lateral deformation performance for additional comfort and compliance.
The helmet is compatible with selected Portwest accessories, including the PS58 visor holder and PW47/PS47 clip-on ear defenders. It is certified to EN 397, ANSI/ISEA Z89.1 Type I Class C and AS/NZS 1801 standards.
