R022 - Lact-8™
Evans Vanodine Lact-8™ is a ready-to-use barrier-film teat disinfectant designed specifically for post-milking dairy hygiene. Its dual-biocide formulation combines chlorhexidine gluconate and lactic acid to provide effective bactericidal action against organisms associated with mastitis.
The product forms a durable and flexible barrier film over the teat, helping to provide longer contact time after application. Its bright pink colour makes coverage highly visible, helping operators identify which teats have been treated.
Lact-8™ also contains 10% glycerol and allantoin, providing emollient and skin-conditioning properties that help soothe and soften teat skin and reduce cracks and crevices where bacteria can multiply.
Supplied ready to use, Lact-8™ requires no dilution and is designed for application by teat dipping immediately after milking. It passes the EN 1656 European disinfectant test against bacteria and is available in 25L and 200L containers.
