Evans Vanodine Masofilm™ is a ready-to-use iodophor teat disinfectant formulated specifically for post-milking teat dipping. Its barrier-film technology forms a protective layer over the teat, helping provide protection between milkings.
The formulation contains added polymers to create effective film-forming properties, with the protective film designed to remain on the skin for up to 12 hours. This makes Masofilm™ particularly suitable where extended barrier protection between milking periods is required.
Masofilm™ contains 0.269% w/w available iodine, alongside 10% glycerine and sorbitol emollients to help condition teat skin. Lower surfactant levels and the higher emollient content are designed to support good teat condition during regular use.
The product is supplied ready to use and undiluted, with no mixing required. It is intended for post-milking dipping only and should not be used through sprayers due to its film-forming and thickening properties. Masofilm™ passes EN 1656 against bacteria and EN 1657 against yeast and is available in 25ltr containers.
When applying Masofilm squeeze the bottle until it fills the connected cup two thirds full. No dilution is required.
