A specially formulated iodophor, stabilised for use with all types of livestock and domestic pets.Cleans and disinfects in one operation. Colour coded to indicate activity.
PREPARATION FOR DISINFECTION - ANIMAL HOUSING AND VEHICLES:
Remove all animals. Remove all portable equipment, litter and manure. Clean thoroughly with a suitable
detergent, washing away to drain. Rinse surfaces thoroughly with water and allow to dry if possible.
Ensure application equipment is clean before disinfection. Decant or dispense (using dispensing equipment)
the concentrated product and dilute with water at 1:100. Application rate: 300 ml/m2 disinfectant solution.
ANIMAL HOUSING - SURFACE AND EQUIPMENT:
Prepare surfaces as above. Spray or foam the disinfectant solution making sure surfaces are thoroughly
wetted and leave to dry for 30 minutes, porous surfaces should be allowed to dry for a minimum of 4
hours.
ANIMAL HOUSING - EQUIPMENT IMMERSION:
Fill a clean container with the disinfectant solution and place equipment (e.g. buckets, cages, hatchery
trays, drinkers, crates) in the solution, leave for 30 minutes before removing and allowing equipment to
drain and dry.
VEHICLE DISINFECTION:
Prepare the vehicle as above. First apply the disinfectant solution to the outside of the vehicle starting
at the top and working down, including wheel arches, tyres, mudguards and underside of the vehicle.
Thereafter, spray on the inside of the vehicle, starting at the top and working down, ensuring that all
surfaces including the fl oor are covered. Minimum contact time 30 minutes before rinsing.
DISINFECTION OF FISH FARM EQUIPMENT:
Equipment should be cleaned as above before disinfection. Prepare the product as above. Fill a clean
container with the disinfectant solution and place equipment (e.g. buckets, trays, fi sh nets, crates) in the
solution, leave for at least 30 minutes before removing, drain, rinse the equipment with clean potable
water and allow to dry. For larger pieces of equipment such as fi sh holding tanks, fi ll cleaned containers
with disinfection solution, leave for a minimum of 30 minutes, drain, rinse with clean water and allow to
dry.
