Directions for Use
Use biocides safely. Always read the label and product information before use. Wear suitable gloves, protective clothing and eye or face protection. Avoid breathing mist, provide adequate ventilation and never mix with other chemicals. Contact time, temperature and dilution must match the application and required efficacy.
1. General livestock protection
Use between 1:100 and 1:200 in cold water, according to the target pathogens and residual soiling. Clean effectively first. Where a disease-control order applies, follow its specific approved conditions rather than assuming this general range is sufficient.
2. Animal drinking-water systems
Between flocks, treat the drinking-water system at 1:50 for 4–6 hours, then rinse thoroughly with potable water. The separate continuous-dosing method uses 1:10,000 through an automated dosing system into farm animal drinking-water tanks and pipes. Follow the equipment instructions and manufacturer guidance for the intended method.
3. Cluster dipping and teat brush systems
For cluster dipping, use 1:50 to 1:200 in cold water, selecting the dilution for the organisms concerned. For automatic teat brush systems, follow the equipment supplier's compatible dosing instructions and the Peradox label; do not assume the cluster-dipping method applies unchanged.
4. In-place processing plant disinfection
After effective detergent cleaning, circulate a 1:200 solution through suitable food or beverage processing equipment.
