FT08 - Composite Textile Wire Lace Trainer S1P SRC
The FT08 is part of Portwest’s Composite range, designed to combine athletic styling with certified workplace protection. The upper is constructed from a lightweight knitted textile that enhances breathability and flexibility, making it particularly suitable for dry and warm working environments where comfort is important.
A key feature of the FT08 is its innovative wire-lace fastening system, which allows quick tightening and release while providing an even, secure fit across the foot. A rear pull-tab also assists with easy entry and removal, improving practicality for daily use.
Protection is provided by a composite toe cap and a puncture-resistant composite midsole, offering S1P-level safety without metal components. The shoe is fully non-metallic and non-magnetic, making it suitable for environments where lightweight and metal-free footwear is required.
The dual-density PU/PU outsole provides cushioning, durability and slip resistance. It is SRC-rated for grip on ceramic and steel surfaces, and is also fuel and oil resistant. An energy-absorbing heel region helps reduce impact stress during walking, improving comfort over long shifts.
Additional features include antistatic properties and a design optimised for lightweight performance and flexibility, making it suitable for warehousing, logistics and general industrial environments.
