Catering Aluminium Foil 45cm x 75m
This 45cm catering foil gives kitchen staff a practical width for covering larger dishes, wrapping suitable foods and preparing items for cooking. The flexible aluminium sheet can be shaped around the task in hand, making it useful at busy preparation and service points where containers and portions vary in size.
The 75m roll supports repeated use without tying every job to a fixed sheet length. Draw out what the dish requires, cut it and fold it into place. The 450mm width is particularly useful where a narrower roll would need several overlapping pieces to cover the same tray or food container.
A self-dispensing cutter box keeps the roll together and gives staff a defined place to prepare each piece. Its serrated edge separates the foil to the selected length, helping keep the preparation point orderly. Keep the box dry and protected from food splashes so the unused supply remains ready for the next task.
Select the foil width for the equipment you use most often. For smaller wrapping jobs, compare 30cm aluminium catering foil; for larger trays, see 60cm catering aluminium foil. Check the pack instructions for the intended food and cooking method before use.

Directions for Use
1. Select the food and application
Check the foil packaging and appliance instructions for the intended use. Avoid using aluminium foil to store highly acidic foods, such as tomatoes, rhubarb or citrus fruit. Choose a suitable alternative container where the food or cooking method requires one.
2. Dispense the required length
Place the cutter box on a stable, clean and dry preparation surface. Pull out enough foil to cover or wrap the item, allowing material for folding around the edges. Use the serrated cutter carefully and keep fingers clear of the cutting edge.
3. Wrap, cover or cook as directed
Shape the foil gently around the food or dish and check for tears, especially near sharp edges. For cooking, follow the equipment and pack instructions. Do not line an appliance cavity or obstruct airflow unless the appliance manufacturer expressly permits it, and do not assume microwave suitability.
4. Store food and manage the used foil
Follow your normal food-storage and temperature-control procedures; a foil covering does not replace them. Keep unused foil protected in its box. After use, follow the waste collector's requirements for aluminium foil and remove food residue where clean foil is accepted for recycling.

FAQs
How wide and long is this foil?
The roll is 45cm wide, equivalent to 450mm, and contains 75m of foil. You can cut each piece to the length needed for the dish or wrapping task rather than working with a fixed sheet size.
Why choose the 45cm width?
It provides more coverage than a narrower kitchen roll for larger dishes and trays. Check the dimensions of your equipment before ordering so there is enough foil to cover the opening and fold around the edges without excessive overlap.
Does the roll include a cutter box?
Yes. It comes in a self-dispensing box with a serrated cutting edge. Keep the box on a stable surface while cutting, protect it from moisture and close it between tasks.
Can I use it for cooking?
The foil is intended for suitable catering cooking applications, subject to the instructions on the pack and the appliance. Check the cooking method before use, keep airflow and vents clear and do not assume it is suitable for a microwave or for lining an appliance cavity.
Is it suitable for storing every food?
No. Food Standards Scotland advises choosing another material for storing highly acidic foods because aluminium can affect their taste, particularly during longer storage. Follow the foil packaging and your normal food-storage procedures for other foods.
Can the used foil be recycled?
Check your business waste collector's requirements. Where aluminium foil is accepted, it normally needs to be free of food residue. Do not assume that heavily contaminated foil belongs in the same collection as clean recyclable metal.
