The MV72 Modaflame Softshell Jacket is constructed from a highly protective three-layer softshell fabric with inherent flame-resistant properties. The fabric combines a polyester outer layer, flame-resistant TPU membrane and Modaflame fleece backing, providing durable protection without relying on a surface treatment that can diminish through washing.
The jacket provides protection against radiant and convective heat, arc flash, chemical splashes and electrostatic hazards. It is also high visibility Class 3 certified, while the orange version conforms to RIS-3279-TOM requirements. The fabric is wind resistant, water resistant and breathable for added protection against changing conditions.
Practical features include three zipped pockets, a drawcord-adjustable hem, storm flap, hook-and-loop cuffs and a chin guard. An interactive flame-resistant zip allows the jacket to be connected to a compatible outer jacket for additional insulation.
