The MX28 Modaflame Coverall is a CAT III flame-resistant coverall designed with inherent protective properties. Its Modaflame fabric contains 60% Modacrylic, 39% cotton and 1% carbon fibre, providing flame resistance without relying on a chemical treatment that can diminish through washing.
The coverall provides protection against radiant, convective and contact heat, as well as protection against electrostatic discharge and arc flash hazards. It features an action back for improved freedom of movement, triple-stitched seams, a durable two-way brass front zip and hook-and-loop adjustable cuffs.
Practical details include multiple pockets, a radio loop, rule pocket and two-tier knee pad pockets offering two positioning options. The fabric is also rated at 40+ UPF for protection from UV rays and the garment is suitable for industrial laundering.
