The FC19 Apex Compositelite is built as a versatile safety shoe combining industrial protection with everyday comfort. The upper is made from action leather with a water-resistant finish to help reduce water penetration while maintaining durability in demanding environments. A reinforced scuff cap adds extra protection in high-wear areas of the toe.
Protection is provided by a lightweight composite toe cap and a puncture-resistant non-metallic midsole. The shoe is fully metal-free, making it suitable for environments where non-magnetic or metal-free footwear is required while still delivering certified protection against impact and underfoot hazards.
Comfort features include a cushioned footbed designed to reduce foot fatigue during prolonged wear, along with a dual-density sole that helps absorb shock and improve stability. An energy-absorbing heel region further enhances comfort during walking or standing for long periods.
The outsole is engineered for demanding environments, offering SRC-rated slip resistance along with fuel and oil resistance. It is also heat resistant up to 300°C, making it suitable for environments where exposure to high temperatures may occur. Additional features include antistatic protection, reflective detailing for visibility and a robust tread pattern designed for grip on uneven surfaces.
The FC19 is certified to EN ISO 20345:2022 S3S standards and provides a balance of durability, protection and comfort in a lightweight safety shoe format.
