Evans Oven Cleaner, 750ml and 5 Litre
Build oven deep cleaning into your kitchen routine with Evans Oven Cleaner. It removes stubborn cooked-on grease and carbon from compatible cooking surfaces, giving professional teams a dedicated product for the deposits that accumulate during repeated food preparation.
The thickened foam stays on vertical surfaces to maintain contact with the soiling. This makes it useful for suitable enamelled oven interiors as well as griddles and cast iron hobs, provided the equipment's care instructions permit a strongly alkaline cleaner.
Choose between the 750ml and 5-litre formats according to your team's usage and storage space. The product is applied undiluted, with a defined preparation temperature and contact period that can be incorporated into a planned cleaning schedule.
Allow time for the complete process, including rinsing and drying, before returning the appliance to service. Keep this specialist product alongside the appropriate commercial kitchen cleaning supplies, and make the surface restrictions and handling instructions available to everyone carrying out the task.

Directions for Use
Check the surface and prepare safely
Read the label, safety sheet and appliance instructions. Wear suitable protective gloves, protective clothing and eye or face protection; avoid breathing mist. Do not use on oven exteriors, aluminium, brass, galvanised, painted, easy-clean or self-cleaning surfaces.
Warm, switch off and apply
Bring the oven or griddle to 40–45°C, then switch it off. Carefully apply the undiluted cleaner to the compatible soiled surface, beginning at the rear of the oven and moving towards the front.
Allow contact and agitate
Allow 10–20 minutes according to the degree of soiling. Use a suitable brush or scouring pad to agitate the deposits as required, taking care to avoid splashes and damage to the surface.
Rinse and finish
Rinse thoroughly using clean water, then leave the equipment to air dry. Check that the cleaning solution and loosened deposits have been removed, and follow the appliance instructions before returning it to use.

FAQs
Which cleaning tasks is Evans Oven Cleaner for?
Use it for heavy deposits of baked-on grease and carbon on the compatible cooking surfaces listed above. It suits a planned deep-cleaning task where staff can allow for preparation, contact time, rinsing and drying.
Does it need diluting?
No. The oven and griddle method uses the product as supplied. Select the required bottle size before ordering and follow the stated temperature and contact period rather than preparing a weaker working solution.
Can it be used on aluminium or self-cleaning ovens?
No. Aluminium and easy-clean or self-cleaning surfaces are excluded, as are oven exteriors and the other materials listed in the directions. Check the construction and care instructions before choosing a chemical.
Should the oven remain switched on during cleaning?
No. Warm it to 40–45°C and switch it off before applying the cleaner. Plan the job so the appliance can remain out of use while cleaning, rinsing and drying are completed.
What protective equipment is needed?
The cleaner is corrosive. Wear appropriate gloves, protective clothing and eye or face protection, and do not breathe mist. Read the full safety data sheet and follow your workplace assessment before handling it.
What can I use for other kitchen degreasing tasks?
Match the cleaner to the surface and task. Lift Cleaner Degreaser is another option to assess for its stated applications. Follow each product's own instructions and keep separate chemicals separate.
