Selalite Aluminium Cleaner & Descaler
Selden Selalite H002 brings together aluminium cleaning and equipment descaling in a specialist professional formula. It targets tarnished aluminium and mineral deposits on compatible equipment, helping maintenance and catering teams address jobs that require a dedicated acidic cleaner. The concentrated liquid provides a focused option for periodic cleaning and descaling.
Cleaning & Brightening Aluminium
The blend of acids and surfactants is formulated to clean aluminium and its alloys while improving their appearance. This brightening action makes Selalite useful when tarnishing affects a compatible metal surface. Its specialist purpose supports maintenance of aluminium equipment alongside the separate cleaning products used for everyday dirt and grease.
Descaling for Catering & Industrial Equipment
Selalite also removes scale from compatible kitchen and industrial equipment. Selden lists manual, soak and combi-oven descaling among its applications. Its unperfumed, low-foaming formulation suits these focused maintenance tasks, providing a dedicated descaler for professional environments where mineral deposits need regular attention.

Directions for Use
Surface cleaning: Dilute one part Selalite with five parts water. Brush the solution onto the surface, working from the bottom upwards. Agitate with a brush to loosen dirt, then rinse off thoroughly with water. Do not allow the solution to dry on aluminium.
Persistent tarnishing: Selden permits increased contact time or a stronger solution for stubborn tarnishing. Follow the current label and manufacturer guidance for the particular surface, taking extra care with neat product and preventing the solution from drying.
Equipment descaling: The manufacturer lists manual, soak and combi-oven descaling at 1:5. Follow the equipment manufacturer's approved descaling procedure for treatment time, application and rinsing.
Restrictions and handling: Do not use on magnesium alloys or anodised surfaces. Avoid chrome and acid-sensitive materials. The concentrate is corrosive: wear chemical-resistant protective gloves and eye protection, avoid skin and eye contact and wash hands after handling. Keep in its original container, closed when not in use, and store locked up away from strong bases and oxidising agents. Follow the product label and safety data sheet.
FAQs
