Ecofibre Compostable Cleaning Cloths – Pack of 50
Ecofibre Compostable Cleaning Cloths offer a non-woven wiping option for kitchens, catering and general housekeeping. The pack provides 50 natural-viscose cloths measuring 40 x 32cm, ready for everyday wiping tasks.
Use a cloth damp for everyday cleaning, with a surface-appropriate product where required. Follow the chemical label, including any rinsing needed before a food-contact surface is used again.
The cloths are designed to absorb liquid and rinse out readily. Allocate colours by task and keep used cloths separate from clean supplies. Machine washing should follow the manufacturer’s care instructions and your workplace hygiene procedure.
Made from viscose fibres, these wipes offer a natural-fibre option for your cleaning routine. They are certified to EN 13432:2000-12 for compostability. At the end of use, follow an accepting waste service’s requirements for used cleaning cloths.
The PLA bag is specified as industrially compostable, while the outer carton uses recycled-source card. Check local collection rules for each item; industrial compostability should not be read as a home-composting claim.

FAQs
How many cloths are supplied, and what size are they?
You receive 50 cloths measuring 40 x 32cm. The size can be folded into manageable sections for wiping worktops and other washable surfaces.
What are the cloths made from?
These are non-woven viscose wipes, product code 105181. Their natural fibres and open-weave construction provide an absorbent wiping material that rinses out readily.
Can the cloths be machine washed?
Yes. Follow the care instructions supplied with the cloths and your workplace hygiene procedure. Keep clean cloths ready for the next task and replace worn ones.
Which colours are available?
Choose blue, green, red or yellow to match your premises’ cleaning-zone policy. Keep each colour assigned to its designated area.
How should I dispose of the cloths and packaging?
Use a collection service that accepts the used material. Cleaning residues can affect disposal, so follow the service’s requirements. The PLA bag is specified for industrial composting; check local acceptance and keep wipes out of drains.
Can I use the cloths in food-preparation areas?
Yes, the wiping material is food-contact compliant. Use a clean cloth with an appropriate cleaning product and complete any contact time or final rinse required by that product.
Compare our all-purpose cleaning cloths, or pair wiping tasks with green recycled-material catering scourers where the surface permits abrasive cleaning.
