The Portwest PW79 Hi-Vis Bump Cap is a lightweight bump cap featuring an internal ABS protective shell, high-density EVA padding, mesh ventilation panels and a long 7cm peak. Designed with an adjustable hook-and-loop fastening, it combines impact protection with a classic baseball cap profile.
The PW79 is constructed from a cotton and polyester outer fabric with an integrated ABS protective shell concealed within the cap structure. The internal shell is combined with a soft padding layer to help absorb minor impacts while maintaining a lightweight design.
A long 7cm peak provides additional coverage from overhead light and glare while maintaining the appearance of a traditional baseball-style cap. The outer fabric incorporates a mesh rear panel, working alongside ventilation openings in the internal shell to improve airflow throughout the cap.
The cap features a padded headband for comfort and an adjustable hook-and-loop fastening at the rear, allowing the fit to be customised. The navy version (PW79NAR) is supplied in a one-size format.
