The Portwest PW62 HV Extreme Clip-On Ear Defender is a helmet-mounted hearing protection accessory featuring a dual-pin adjustable attachment system, stand-off position and high-visibility finish. It is designed for compatibility with 30mm helmet side slots and selected Portwest safety helmet systems.
The PW62 HV Extreme Clip-On Ear Defender uses a helmet-mounted design that attaches directly to compatible safety helmets via 30mm side slots. The dual-pin adjustment system allows the ear cups to be positioned in multiple settings for alignment and fit.
The ear cups are constructed from ABS with foam padding, supported by a pivoting mounting system that enables smooth movement between active and stand-off positions. The stand-off position allows the cups to be moved away from the ears when not in use and repositioned as required.
The internal cushioning uses PU foam for acoustic sealing, while the outer structure uses impact-resistant ABS with reinforced mounting components.
The design is supplied in a grey and orange colourway with high-visibility detailing and colour-coded cups for identification.
Certified to EN 352-3, the PW62 delivers an SNR rating of 33dB for noise attenuation.
