The Portwest FW42 Steelite Obra Sandal S1 is a lightweight safety sandal featuring a 200-joule steel toe cap, perforated suede leather upper and dual-density PU/PU sole. Designed for enhanced airflow, it combines breathable construction with certified foot protection and slip-resistant performance.
The FW42 Steelite Obra Sandal is constructed from premium cow suede leather with perforated sections throughout the upper to promote airflow. The open design is complemented by a breathable 3D mesh lining, helping to improve ventilation while maintaining durability and support.
A 200-joule protective steel toe cap is integrated into the sandal, providing certified impact protection. The footwear also incorporates a pierce-resistant steel midsole for additional underfoot protection, achieving S1 safety classification.
The adjustable webbing strap allows the fit to be customised, while a padded tongue and cushioned comfort footbed enhance comfort during wear. Front and rear pull-tabs assist with easy fitting and removal.
Underfoot, the dual-density PU/PU sole unit delivers cushioning and durability. The outsole is fuel and oil resistant, antistatic and certified to SRC slip-resistance standards for grip on ceramic and steel surfaces. An energy-absorbing heel region further improves comfort and shock absorption.
The FW42 is certified to EN ISO 20345 S1 SR/FO safety standards and is supplied in a grey colourway (GRR).
