Delphis Eco Liquid Grease & Drain Cleaner 5L supports a planned maintenance routine for commercial kitchen drainage. It is intended for grease traps and drain lines where fats, oils and grease accumulate during everyday catering work.
The biological formulation contains a blend of Bacillus bacteria that digest grease and other organic waste. This helps reduce deposits and associated odours in the drainage system. The ready-to-use format is dosed undiluted, using a suitable peristaltic pump to deliver the required daily amount.
Begin with a clean fat trap, then use the manufacturer’s initial dosing programme before moving to the ongoing maintenance dose. Position the dosing point in the drain line upstream of the trap, as close to it as possible within the stated maximum distance.
The 5-litre container gives kitchens a supply for repeated daily treatment. Include it in a broader programme of inspection, cleaning and emptying: biological maintenance may reduce the frequency of emptying, but physical grease-trap care remains necessary. Directions for Use
Prepare the grease trap and dosing point
Clean the fat trap before dosing begins. Use the product undiluted. Introduce it into the drain line before the trap, as close to the trap as possible and no more than 2 metres away.
Start and maintain the dosing programme
For the first 7–10 days, dose 500ml daily using a peristaltic, or roller, pump. Ideally dose when the kitchen is not in use. Then reduce the daily dose to 250ml. Follow the supplied label and equipment instructions.
Continue physical maintenance
Keep inspecting, cleaning and emptying the trap as required. This is a maintenance treatment and does not remove the need for physical cleaning.
Handle and store the container
Avoid eye contact and wash hands thoroughly after handling. Do not mix with other cleaning chemicals. Keep the container tightly closed in a dry, cool, well-ventilated place.
