Pipeline & Direct Expansion Tank Sanitiser

An efficient recirculation liquid. The Sodium Hydroxide and Chlorine based formulation gives a fast cleaning action and removes milk residues efficiently in all types of direct expansion and insulated bulk milk holding tanks and milking parlours. The 25-litre container is sufficient to make 5000 litres of working solution. VANOSAN mixes easily and is suitable for use in hard or soft water. It defats and helps prevent milkstone build up.

User Instructions

In-Place Cleaning of Bulk Milk Tanks by Recirculation

1. Immediately after the tank has been emptied, rinse thoroughly with clean, cold water
2. Make up a solution of VANOSAN at a rate of 200ml to 40 litres (8fl.oz/10 gall.) of water at 70oC
3. Circulate the solution for 15-20 minutes and then run to waste
4. Rinse with clean fresh water and allow to drain thoroughly

In-Place Cleaning of Milking Machines

1. Immediately after milking, clean off the outside of the equipment, e.g. clusters
2. Thoroughly rinse the plant with clean, cold water to remove residual milk, allowing to run to waste
3. Make up a solution of VANOSAN at a rate of 200ml to 40 litres (8fl.oz/10 gall.) of water at 77 - 82oC (170-180o F)
4. Draw into plant allowing some solution to run to waste until the solution is discharging hot, at least 50oC, from the return line
5. Set the return line for circulation and continue circulating for 10 minutes
6. Run the solution to waste
7. After cleaning, rinse the plant thoroughly with clean cold water and allow to drain thoroughly
