AeroWash™ EyeWash Cabinet
Give eyewash supplies a dedicated home with the AeroWash AW1004 cabinet. Two 500ml eyewash bottles and two eye pad dressings are stored together, creating a compact station that colleagues can locate without searching through general first-aid supplies.
The wall-mounted format keeps the kit in an agreed position, while its portable case allows the supplies to be moved when required. The cabinet and its clear identification support an organised approach to workplace first aid, from routine inspections to replacing used items.
Each bottle contains sterile 0.9% sodium chloride solution for eye irrigation in accordance with its label. The two separately packed eye pads provide additional first-aid supplies. Keep the contents sealed until needed and make sure staff know where the station is located.

Directions for Use
1. Position the cabinet for prompt access
Use your workplace needs assessment to select an accessible location close to the relevant work area. Install the cabinet according to its supplied mounting instructions, keep the approach clear and tell staff where to find it. Provide any additional eyewash facilities identified by your assessment.
2. Check the contents before they are needed
Include the station in routine first-aid checks. Confirm both bottles and both eye pads are present, inspect seals and wrappers, and check expiry dates. Replace damaged or expired supplies and keep the cabinet clean, following the storage conditions on each item.
3. Follow the bottle label and emergency procedure
Use the eyewash in accordance with its label and first-aid training. Do not rub an injured eye or attempt to remove an embedded object. If a strong chemical enters the eye, begin rinsing immediately with plenty of clean water and obtain emergency medical help; do not delay rinsing while locating this kit.
4. Replace used supplies promptly
Discard opened eyewash and used dressings after use. Replenish with suitable sealed replacements, checking bottle fit and product suitability before ordering. Record the inspection and return the stocked cabinet to its designated position so that it is ready when next required.

FAQs
What is included with the AeroWash cabinet?
The AW1004 listing includes the cabinet, two 500ml bottles of sterile 0.9% sodium chloride eyewash and two eye pad dressings. The two bottles contain 1 litre of solution altogether, stored with the dressings at one first-aid point.
Can the cabinet be wall-mounted?
Yes. It is intended for wall-mounted storage and has a portable case. Follow the supplied fitting instructions and choose a clearly identified position that staff can reach quickly, with access kept clear during normal working hours.
Is the eyewash supplied ready to use?
Yes. The bottles contain sterile 0.9% sodium chloride solution; do not dilute it or add other substances. Before use, check the seal and expiry date and follow the bottle instructions. Sterility depends on the original packaging remaining intact.
Is this kit enough for every eye emergency?
No. The required facilities depend on the workplace hazards and your needs assessment. Bottled supplies have a limited volume. Chemical exposure may require prolonged rinsing and urgent medical care; NHS guidance advises plenty of clean water for at least 20 minutes when washing an injured eye.
Can opened bottles be kept for later use?
Do not return opened eyewash to the cabinet for another incident. Discard it after use and replace it with a suitable sealed bottle. Keep spare supplies in their original packaging and follow the manufacturer's storage and expiry information.
How should the station be maintained?
Assign regular checks and inspect the station after each use. Check quantities, seals, expiry dates and dressing wrappers, replace unsuitable items promptly and make sure the cabinet remains clean, identifiable and accessible to staff.
