DAIRY HYPOCHLORITE                                                                 

DESCRIPTION

DAIRY HYPOCHLORITE is a chlorine based disinfectant.  It has a fast, bactericidal action for routine disinfection of all milking parlours, pipelines, dairy utensils and general cleaned surfaces.  It mixes easily and is suitable for use in hard or soft water.  The 25 litre container is sufficient to make 10,000 litres of working solution.  Recommended for use with Blusyl and Q'Sol detergents to give sanitising properties.

For use in dairy milking parlours, where it should be used for the disinfection of all types of pipeline milking equipment and utensils.

HOW TO USE

PRE-CLEANED EQUIPMENT:       

100ml DAIRY HYPOCHLORITE to 40 litres of water (4 fl.oz/10 gall).

MANUAL DISINFECTION:                   

Immerse equipment, making sure that all surfaces are in contact with the solution for at

least two minutes.  Rinse off with clean, cold water.

IN-PLACE DISINFECTION:                 

Circulate the solution through the plant for at least two minutes.  Rinse plant thoroughly

with clean, cold water and allow to drain completely.

COMBINED SANITISING:              

DAIRY HYPOCHLORITE may be used with Blusyl or Q'Sol, and other compatible

detergents, to give cleaning and disinfecting properties.

MANUAL COMBINED SANITISING:       

Add the DAIRY HYPOCHLORITE solution to a warm detergent solution.  Thoroughly rinse

off all of the equipment in clean water.  Scrub with solution for at least two minutes, making

sure all surfaces make contact with the solution.  Rinse off with clean, cold water.

IN-PLACE SANITISING:                     

Add the DAIRY HYPOCHLORITE solution to a hot detergent solution.  Thoroughly rinse the

plant in clean water and run to waste. 

Circulate for 5-10 minutes and then run to waste.  Rinse off with clean, cold water and allow

to drain completely.

FINAL RINSING:                           

Where chlorinated mains water is not available or if the supply is suspect, DAIRY

HYPOCHLORITE may be added to the final clean rinse at 25ml/40 litres of water (1 fl.oz/10

gall).

COMPOSITION

Contains 10% minimum available Chlorine at time of manufacture.
